Nancy Dessables, ACSW comes with 20+ years experience training line and
supervisory staff who work with the aging population. She began her own career
conducting trainings for older workers in career transition at the New York
Foundation for Senior Citizens where she worked as a director of a senior
employment program. Later, Nancy joined the New York City Department for the
Aging as a Senior Trainer. There she began designing and delivering quality adult
learning experiences for staff of senior centers, case management organizations
and other providers of services to older New Yorkers.
As principal trainer of Continyou Learning Associates, Nancy continues to train staff
including physicians, nurses, social workers, health educators, case managers,
child protective workers, CNAs and many others on topics related to aging and aging
services.
